Common questions

Do I need new software?

No. The portal opens in any modern web browser on your phone, tablet, or computer. No installs, no accounts to remember (a free Google sign-in does the work behind the scenes).

Who can see my files?

Only Convenient Accounting. Your folder is not shared with any other client of the firm, and we never include your documents in mass communications. Your data is yours.

What kinds of files can I send?

W-2s, 1099s, K-1s, prior tax returns, bank and credit card statements, receipts (photos from your phone are fine), QuickBooks files, payroll reports — anything we'd otherwise ask you to email.

How long until I hear back?

We confirm receipt and outline next steps within one business day. If something is genuinely urgent, mention "URGENT" in your email subject and we'll move it to the top of the queue.
